Not a substitute for actual therapy, but might be a good place to start. I tried to do only 1 lecture per day rather than binge-listen and I think I benefitted from the space between. Although you probably wouldn't want to try to do every exercise explored in this course, I tried out a few and found them helpful. My favorite parts were actually the tapes of the patients themselves.
If you already have an audible subscription and are interested in CBT, I think this one is worth a listen. Milage may vary.
UPDATE: I recently (2025) came upon the notebook I did these exercises in and discovered that a lot of my progress over the past year was directly connected to this workbook. Again, I would caution that this is not a one-and-done solution to bipolar disorder, but (for me) it made a big difference and I'm glad I listened.
