Remarkably Beautiful.
This was my travel book for a three-hour flight from Ohio to Texas and back. I read the bulk on the planes, and the rest on shuttles in between terminals, in line for events, in bed at the Motel 6 before sleep, ect. All-told, I would say I finished it in about 8-10 hours. Absolutely devoured it.
I will warn other readers that the pace is not quick. This is not an action-packed adventure under the high seas or a serious drama. This is a slow, quiet story about love and the many forms it takes, about moving on from grief, and learning to trust again. It made me cry during our final approach to Dayton International. Gentle and tender without being overly sappy.
Recommended.
