I got this Goosebumps book lumped in with 9 other Goosebumps books in a $19.99 set, meaning the physical copy cost about $1.99. I would say I got at least $1.99 worth of fun out of it.
I read most of these books as a kid and I love them. This one is probably one of the weaker Give Yourself Goosebumps ones, but it's still fun enough to read. Goofy as all get out, but that's what you're paying for basically.
Some of the endings are so downright silly, it's impossible not to laugh. Others sort of just fizzle out. That's sort of the rub of a Choose Your Own Adventure book. 1-2 Good adventures, a smattering of mediocre adventures, and some downright awful ones.
If you have a kid who is just starting on chapter books, I think this would be great to read with them. If not you, like me, might enjoy it just for the nostalgia value.
